This website is the professional portfolio of Giuseppe Naponiello. It is designed to collect as little as possible: it uses no cookies, no third-party tracking services, and it does not store the messages you send.

What data is processed and why
1. Contact form
If you write to me through the form, I process your name, email address, type of request and message.
- Purpose: to reply to your request and, where relevant, to start a collaboration.
- Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, and legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). No separate consent is required.
- How: the message is forwarded by email to my mailbox and is not stored on the website or in a database.
- Retention: as long as needed to handle your request and any relationship that follows; if there is no follow-up, for no more than 24 months.
- The fields are required in order to reply: without them the message cannot be sent.
2. Visit statistics
I use Umami, open-source analytics software installed on my own server, to know how many people visit the website and which pages they read.
- It collects only aggregate, anonymous data: page visited, referring site, browser type, operating system and device, country.
- It uses no cookies and does not store your IP address: the address is only used to derive the country and an anonymous code that changes every day, so that you cannot be recognised from one visit to the next.
- If Do Not Track is enabled in your browser, your visit is not recorded.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest in improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Technical server data
Like any website, the server receives your IP address in order to send you the pages. No access logs are kept; any technical error logs are kept for a limited period and deleted automatically, solely to ensure that the service works and is secure.
Cookies and browser storage
The website uses no cookies. Your display preferences (light or dark theme, high contrast, text size) are
stored only in your browser (localStorage); they are not sent to anyone and you can delete them at any time
from your browser settings.
Who receives the data
I do not sell or share your data. To run the website I rely on these providers:

Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, rectify or erase your data, to restrict its processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to receive it in a portable format (Arts. 15–21 GDPR). Just write to info@iamcoder.it.
If you believe the processing breaches the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or with the authority of your country of residence.
